Zoom Technical Requirements

During the conference, we will also be utilizing Zoom for certain portions of the agenda. Please view the Zoom Requirement page to verify that your computer/tablet software is compatible with Zoom Meetings & Rooms here.

Virtual Background Images

The Nexion Travel Group team has created six Zoom virtual background images to choose from. This is perfect if you’re on the go or wanting to change up your office space!  The Zoom virtual background feature allows you to display an image as your background during a Zoom meeting. This feature works best with a green screen and uniform lighting to allow Zoom to detect the difference between you and your background. For step-by-step instructions on how and where to upload your new background, please see this Zoom article here.

For the images below, please click on the image you would like to download. You will then be taken to a separate page where you can right-click and save the image to your desktop.

Tips to Make the Most Out of a Virtual Conference

Here are some helpful tips to follow while attending CoNexion at Home:

  • Watch our webinar on “How to Get the Most out of CoNexion at Home to learn more about what’s to come, best practices and tips for our upcoming virtual conference.
  • Create a conference “work” space. Carve out a work space for yourself in your house, apartment or place where you’ll be joining us for CoNexion at Home. We suggest going somewhere with natural lighting to boost your mood and productivity.
  • Use the conference agenda to set your hours. After registering for the event, including your supplier roundtable breakouts, VIP After-Hours Networking and the CoNexion House Party, be sure to add these sessions to your calendar (Outlook or other).
  • Come web-cam ready. Just as you would dress professionally in business-casual attire for an in-person event, we encourage you to do so for CoNexion at Home. There will be opportunities to interact on camera face-to-face during the conference to network with your peers, supplier partners and staff; plus, getting out of the PJs and brushing your hair will help energize you and get you motivated for the excitement ahead.
  • Take breaks. We have added breaks to the overall agenda, but if you feel yourself getting sluggish or non-engaged from watching your screen, get up and walk around. Do some stretches. Grab a healthy snack or your favorite energy drink.
  • Avoid multi-tasking. It’s easy to do some chores around the house or work on business needs on the side, it’s important to stay focused and engaged on conference happenings during the conference. You’ll walk away with more “a-ha moments” and learnings that will help you in your business.
  • Put work away at the end of the day. When the conference day is over, turn off your computer, tidy up your space and ‘leave work.’ Doing these small things helps your brain make the switch from conference mode to home mode.
  • Have fun! We encourage you to get involved and engage with attendees when possible. For example, we look forward to your participation in Nexion Idol! (See House Party under the Event Info tab for full details.)
