GENERAL INFORMATION

Will there be pre- or post-conference opportunities?

View the current Pre/Post-Conference Activities & Discounts under the Event Info tab for all available opportunities including Disney Destinations and Universal Resorts & Parks Vacations site/ship inspections! Deadline to register for pre/post activities closes September 4.

Where do I pick up tickets if I completed the Universal Training?

After completion of the Universal UandU courses, advisors can pick up ticket(s) the parks. The most efficient way to pick up a order is to follow the signs to the Will Call Kiosks. Alternately, agents can visit any Universal Studios Florida™ or Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ Front Gate ticket window, where they will need to show a valid photo I.D.

What is the dress code for CoNexion 2019?

The dress code during CoNexion functions is business casual; however, please remember to bring a sweater or jacket, as temperatures may vary in conference rooms.

Where can I address my ADA special requirements?

During registration, you will be asked to list any special needs. Please be specific when describing any special needs.

I cannot attend CoNexion for the full conference period. Is there a discounted registration fee for partial conference attendance?

No. The conference fee is the same, regardless of which events/days you can attend. For the full CoNexion experience, we hope you can attend the full conference.

Should I stay for the whole conference?

Yes! You won’t want to miss out on a full day of workshops, power speakers during the general sessions – not to mention fantastic prizes and the awards ceremony! (You must be present to win prizes; prize will be available for pickup in the foyer following the last general session.)

I went to CoNexion last year; should I go again this year?

You bet! Just as your business changes yearly, so does CoNexion in order to meet your ever-changing needs. This year’s CoNexion is better than ever and will showcase engaging workshops, dynamic industry leaders, surprises and prizes galore!

Will my contact information or image be shared?

Our top sponsors receive an attendee list prior to CoNexion, so they can invite you to special events they may have during or around the conference. In addition, we may use video and/or photography of all CoNexion functions and attendees for marketing purposes.

Will there be a CoNexion App again this year?

YES! The CoNexion App is live! Check your inbox for an email from the Events Team (support@crowdcompassmail.com) for instructions on how to download the app. (If you need again, contact conexion@nexion.com to request.)

How do I stay up to date with all communications from the Events team, including workshop sign ups?

Ensure the domain @nexion.com is on your safe list for emails.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS

What do I need to do to register for CoNexion?

Nexion Travel Group members and their guests may click REGISTER. Supplier registration links will be emailed to participating supplier partners.

When is the last day to register for CoNexion?

You can register through September 11, 2019 or until the conference fills to capacity, whichever comes first. Note that rooms at the conference hotel may fill before this date, so it’s imperative you register and book as early as possible.

Can I pay by check?

No. Only credit cards are accepted through the online registration process.

Can I give my credit card information over the phone?

No, in order to pay for your registration using a credit card, please fill out the credit card information section at the end of the online registration process.

Can I bring my family to CoNexion with me?

Only registered attendees are allowed in CoNexion functions, seminars, classes and trade show. Please note that no one under 18 is allowed to attend any events or training. All CoNexion attendees will be required to wear their designated name badge to all conference functions.

Can I register a guest?

Guests must be officially registered for CoNexion, and be 18 or older, in order to any function or session. Official CoNexion badge must be worn at all times. Guest registration is now closed.

How do I become eligible to receive prizes at CoNexion?

Our supplier partners provide phenomenal prizes. To be eligible to receive, you must:

How do I know I have been registered?

When you register, you will receive an automated confirmation email containing your confirmation number and the details of your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few hours of registering for CoNexion, please notify us at conexion@nexion.com.

Can you address special needs?

Yes, we can accommodate special needs requests. Please ensure you include during the registration process.

What other expenses will I have?

What other expenses will I have? The conference registration fee covers your basic conference attendance fee, all workshops, general sessions and supplier roundtables. It allows access to the myExperience Zone and Supplier Partner Trade Show, as well as all evening events including the opening reception, Friday night offsite park celebration and Saturday farewell celebration.

Do I have to register for workshops, general sessions, special events and meal functions in order to be able to attend them?

Yes! In order to participate in any workshop, general session or special event, including meal functions, you must be registered. Workshops and supplier roundtables registration are now open to all registered agents. Please see your inbox for a link from the Events Team to register for workshops and round tables. Registration closes August 30.

Please note: Registered CoNexion guests will not be able to pre-register for roundtable sessions at the moment. Guests will be on standby for roundtable registration if space is available.

How do I view/modify/cancel my conference registration?

You may log back into the registration system using your confirmation number and make modifications until Aug. 31, 2019. If you no longer have your confirmation number, click on REGISTER and then click on link for Already Registered?

I have forgotten my confirmation number. What should I do?

Your confirmation number is listed in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation number, email conexion@nexion.com.

Unfortunately, I need to cancel. How do I cancel and do I receive a refund?

If you need to cancel, you can do so by modifying your registration through the cvent link sent in your confirmation email. Be sure to refer to the Registration tab for cancellation policies and fees.

If I register someone now, and later he/she decides he/she can’t make it, can I change the registration to a different name?

CoNexion registrations are non-transferrable. You’ll need to cancel the original registration and register the new attendee at the current CoNexion registration rate.

I am interested in finding a roommate during CoNexion. How do I do this?

If you are interested in finding a roommate during CoNexion, we encourage you to make a posting on NexionTown in the CoNexion 2019 group and/or the CoNexion 2019 Canada group.

Will there be special air promotions to/from Orlando (select airlines include Tampa)?

Yes there are. Please refer to the Air Discounts link.

Which airport is closest to the Universal Orlando Resort?

The Loews Royal Pacific Resort is located in the heart of Universal Studios. The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 25-30 minutes from the conference hotel. Complimentary transportation is available. Please see the Travel Info tab for more information.

What are transfer options to/from Loews Royal Pacific Resort?

Complimentary transfers are included. Car discounts are also available. Please see the Travel Info/Transportation page for full details.

If I am driving to the conference hotel, what are the parking options?

Is there a room block at the conference hotel?

Yes, we have secured a room block for CoNexion attendees. The link is emailed from our Events team once you have registered for CoNexion. You can also view the room block here.

How do I modify/cancel my hotel reservation?

In order to modify or cancel your hotel reservation, please contact the hotel directly at (407) 503-3000.

When do I need to make my hotel room reservations?

As soon as possible! The hotel room booking deadline for the CoNexion block rate is August 16. However, note that the room block will fill prior to that time.

CLASSES, SESSIONS AND SPECIAL EVENT INFORMATION

Do I have to register for workshops/special events/meal functions in order to be able to attend them?

Yes, in order to participate in any class, seminar or special event, including evening receptions, you must be registered.

When can I sign up for workshops and supplier roundtables?

Workshops and roundtables are now open to all registered agents. Please see your inbox for a link from the Events Team to register for both. All registered attendees will be notified via email through conexion@nexion.com with instructions. Therefore, it is extremely important that the email address you use on your registration is one that you check regularly. Workshops and roundtable registration closes August 30.

Please note: Registered CoNexion guests will not be able to pre-register for roundtable sessions at the moment. Guests will be on standby for roundtable registration if space is available.

How can I modify my workshop or supplier roundtable choices once I’ve signed up for them?

Refer back to your original confirmation email, which has a link to your registration and registration number. If you no longer have this email, send a request to have it be resent to conexion@nexion.com.

When will I receive my agenda for workshops/events that I have registered for?

You will receive an email agenda prior to CoNexion.

I was not able to sign up for the workshops/roundtables/events that I wanted. What can I do?

You may “stand by” for a class by going to the door before the class time and letting the classroom door monitor know you would like to attend the class. If there is room available, they will let you in.

How will I know if classes are geared for my level of experience?

Workshop descriptions will include information to help distinguish the audience and who is best suited to attend.

Will there be any private parties during CoNexion?

Of course! There will be three receptions exclusively for registered CoNexion attendees & registered guests Day 1, 2 and 3 of the conference. There will be a Hawaiian-themed welcome reception, private party at Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeadeand a farewell reception in Epcot®. Please see the Agenda tab for more details on timing.

Who can attend the private parties at CoNexion?

All registered CoNexion attendees and registered guests must be officially registered for CoNexion, and be 18 or older, in order to any function or session. Guest registration is now closed. You MUST have your official CoNexion badge with you when you enter the park. No exceptions.

Do I need a park ticket to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™ or Epcot® private party?

No ticket is required however, you MUST be wearing your official CoNexion badge to enter the park. No exceptions.

Everyone will be given a ticket to enter Epcot after dinner to enjoy the rest of the evening in Epcot.

Will transportation be provided from the hotel to the parties?

Yes. Transportation will be provided to and from the private parties (except the welcome reception since this will take place at the event hotel).

  • Sept. 13 Universal Orlando Park Private Party at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade
    There will be continuous bus transportation to/from the event location and conference property throughout the evening. All attendees MUST ride the bus to the party.
  • Sept. 14 Farewell Party at Epcot
    There will be transportation to/from the event location and conference property. Buses will run one-way/one-time in each direction. All attendees MUST ride the bus to the party.

 

Can I use my own form of transportation to attend the private party in Universal Resorts and Disney World Epcot?

No. CoNexion attendees attending the private parties at Universal Resorts and Epcot must arrive via the provided coaches as we will be entering from behind the scenes.

Can we dress up for the private parties?

Indeed! Our welcome reception is Hawaiian-themed and we invite you to dress up in your favorite Hawaiian shirt and/or your favorite tourist attire.

However please read below for a few rules for dressing up for the private party at Universal Resorts. Please note that dressing up is optional.

You are most certainly welcome to dress up for the Hogwarts party, however you can only dress up with items sold in the stores at Universal Resorts. *IMPORTANT* You cannot mix licensed partners items. For example:  You may not wear a Harry Potter robe, with Minion glasses on or wear a minion t-shirt while waving a Harry Potter wand around on stage. It must be all one cohesive outfit/character.

SUPPLIER AND EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

How do suppliers register?

The Nexion Travel Group Events team will send a separate registration link to participating suppliers. Suppliers should not register using registration links on this site. (To confirm sponsorship or participation level, suppliers should contact their Nexion Travel Group supplier marketing representative.)

The hotel room block link on the website says it’s for agents only. How do suppliers book a room at the conference hotel?

The Nexion Travel Group Events team will send a separate hotel room block reservation link when they open supplier registration.

I have a different rep who is now coming. Can I do a name change?

Yes by emailing Heather Jacobs at hjacobs@travelleaders.com through Aug. 1.

Can I choose my booth assignment?

No, all booth assignments will be made by Nexion Travel Group Management.

When will I know my booth assignment?

Booth assignments will be assigned late this summer and will be sent with other important exhibitor information such as shipping instructions.

I am an exhibitor at this year’s CoNexion, and I would like the contact information for all agents attending. Is this possible?

Diamond, Emerald and Ruby sponsors will receive an attendee list as part of their sponsorship package immediately prior to CoNexion. No other exhibitors will receive an attendee list. If you have any questions regarding the attendee list, please contact us at marketing@nexion.com.
