ESSENTIALS

Big beach bag
Beach blanket, mat or towels
Sunglasses
Sunscreen (pack at least one all-purpose sunscreen with SPF 15 and one that’s waterproof or resistant)
Beach cart, chair and umbrella, unless your resort provides these
Cell phone (be sure it’s charged)
Credit cards and cash, driver’s license/ID
Waterproof bag or plastic bag for wallets and cell phones
Flotation devices
Glasses and/or contact lenses, if necessary (bring an extra pair, too)
Goggles
Health insurance cards

CLOTHING

Sun hat
Flip flops or sandals/Water shoes if there are sharp rocks or coral
